About Me:

This is my 27th year in education. I am the Regional Educational Technology Coordinator for ISBE's Learning Technology Center.

I am a National Board Certified Teacher (Middle Childhood Generalist) and adjunct professor at Dominican, National Louis, and Michigan State. I am a Google for Education Certified Trainer, Google Certified Educator (levels 1 & 2), Apple Teacher, and Apple Education Trainer. I hold two masters degrees and have served on the Illinois Computing Educators Executive Board for 5 years (term ending June 2018). I am a former member of the Chicago Foundation for Education's Board of Directors.  I spent 15 years as a 4th-grade teacher and 10 years as an instructional technology coach all within the Chicago Public School district.

In 2011 I was honored to be named as CFE's Teacher of the Year and in 2012 named "One to Watch" within CPS.  I'm a wife and a mother to 18-year-old twins that left for college!
